Anna

Hello! It's Nikki here (again). :) I know it's my dolls' blog (and they prefer to keep it that way), but sometimes there's something that I want to share, and they don't, or can't. This time, I came on to share some beautiful pictures of Anna with you. Out of all the dolls I have, she's probably had more photos taken this year than any of the others! :) But that's not because she's my favorite - it's because she's just an amazing model for clothes, and she poses beautifully.

This is the first picture I ever took of her. (Well, the first one that worked, anyway.) :) I think it was the day I finished making the jeans, although they didn't get pockets until July, I think. Actually, I liked them better without. :P

Now we get to my favorites (which are most of the photos I've taken :)). I took these photos the day her hair calmed down after being fluffy from braids. :P She's posing on my bed with my mom's bear. I think I had started packing for our house-move and I packed all my bears, so I borrowed this one to sleep with. :P

Now she's holding the bear! :)

A beautiful close-up! :) I always think when the light shines that way on her hair she really looks like an angel. :)

This is one of the photos I took in August when we went to a little nature reserve right near our house. It was cold when we started out, so she dressed up warmly and got a chance to wear the scarf and mittens I made for her. They have little white flowers or snowflakes on them and the scarf has her name on it. :) She got a green mitten here, though, because the back of that pole she's holding had some kind of algae or mold on it. Yuck!

Standing on the railing at a view-point bench, with the sea in the background. :) Unfortunately, the flash made this one bluish because it was shady.

Sitting against a tree by the pond! :) We were going to take some photos on the little jetty on the pond, but someone had thrown up on it. :P

On the way to the beach I always take a little side path, even though it's longer, because it's got these little step and a picnic area, and it's just generally pretty. :) This one's of Anna on the railing at the picnic area. (But don't ask me why there's a railing - there's no drop or anything!)

Then we found this lovely old tree, which look great to climb, so she tried it! :)

Queen of the Wood! :) Actually, she almost fell here. :P

Now she's under the cliff. Well, it's called a cliff, but I would call it more of a heap of sand piled up in lumps. :P

Yay! We're on the beach! :) And waving to her friends... But the sun came out and it got really hot, as you can see by the people swimming in the background. :P Lol, on the way home she was called "little Eskimo" by a guy who walked past!

This was more of the sea than of her, but I like the water, so I'm adding it anyway. ;)

Here, I was trying to get one of her with a wave in it. Finally, I did... but the wave almost knocked her over half a second after I took the picture!

I don't know what seemed so good about this at the time... I think it was the little opening in the bushes... Maybe it just looks boring because the sun was too bright.

And further on, Anna's in the bushes! :) Is that gorse next to her...? I don't think so... Now I miss my old house. :P

Now this is a cliff! :) Can you see Anna way down there? ;) Sometimes I can't even find her in this picture! She shouldn't have actually been under that cliff, but what were the chances that part of it would collapse just this one time we were there? We never go under it usually, and anyway, she wasn't really under it, just near it. The photo looks like she's closer in to it. :)

A beautiful stretch of forest-edged beach! :) The woods are more like a jungle, though, especially from the beach. Sometimes when I'm in them I like to pretend I'm a savage, or on another planet or something. :P

Here's the steps I mentioned before. :) I don't know why, but they make me think of an enchanted forest of something.

Now Anna's in a little clearing on the way back.

And now she's walking on a log! :)

And  final outdoor picture for the day - walking on this little wall. :) this was probably less than a minute before she was called a "little Eskimo". :)
I have one of her in her pajamas later, but it looks strange. :P

Here she is in a dress I made her in October. :) She's also in braids again! That's because it's her favorite hairstyle aside from just leaving it down. ;)

And I know you've already seen some of the pictures from this day, but this is her with Sarah in November. :)

These are the best photos I have, and I really think they're all lovely. Not because of my photography (or my lousy camera :P), but because of how amazingly beautiful she is! :)

Merry Christmas! :)

Hello, I'm Cindy! Today, I met Nikki and all the dolls that live with her. :) I like them very much, and I'm glad I'm going to stay with them all. They weren't expecting me, but they were very nice anyway, and Nikki's doing everything with me! :) I'm nine years old, and I love flowers, pretty colors, and dancing, especially ballet! :) Here's a picture of me this morning:

I am wearing my favorite hairstyle, even though Nikki's family keeps calling me "Princess Leia".
Another girl called Sarah came too, but the others say you've already seen a picture of her, so I won't post one.

We got lots of lovely presents today! :) Even me! I got a lovely pinkish-red Christmassy dress! (It's the one I'm wearing in the header.) :) Here are the other really amazing presents:

Kirsten got a doll! :) She isn't sure what she's going to call her yet, but she thinks maybe "Gretchen" or "Olga". :)

And Molly also got a doll! :) She's probably going to call her "Patience". :)

The picture's blurry, but Elyssa got a Cecile doll! :) It was amazing having all these dolls on one Christmas! :) Elyssa wants to call her doll something like "Annette", but she doesn't quite like that, and she's trying to think of something similar that sounds better. I'm sure she'd be glad for suggestions! :) She also got a blue leotard, because she's starting gymnastics soon, but it broke. :( Nikki will fix it as soon as she can get the right kind of thread, though. :)

It's another blurry picture, but here's the last of the best presents. It's another doll! :) It's Nellie's, and she doesn't know what to call her yet. I'm sure she'd love suggestions, too. :) Nellie's lucky, because if it wasn't for Nikki's brother, she wouldn't have her doll.

We've had a lovely Christmas so far, and Lindsay's reading the Sherlock Holmes book Nikki got. ;) We (Nikki included :)) hope you have an amazing day too, and that you also have a wonderful year! :) It'd also be cool to know if you got any amazing presents. I hope you did! :)
Merry Christmas! :)
Love,
Cindy (and Nikki, Anna, Sarah, Cait, Melody, Samantha, Nellie, Elyssa, Lindsay, Nicki, Julie, Kit, Kirsten, and Molly ;))

Putting up the Christmas Tree! :)

Hello, it's Nikki here, to tell another story with the photographs I've taken. :) Today, the dolls put up their Christmas tree. We're all sorry it was so late, but at least it's up. :)

This afternoon, Nicki was waiting in The Room for the others to arrive, while she arranged the tree's branches. I wonder how long they'll be, she thought. Just then, she head footsteps, and turned around.

It was Molly and Kit!
"Hi, Nicki!" they said.
"Hi, guys!" Suddenly Nicki noticed what kit had over her shoulders. "Kit," she asked, "why are you wearing tinsel?"
"I thought you might need some extra," Kit laughed.
"Ohh, okay. You wanna put on the lights?"
"Sure!" said Kit and Molly together.

Just as they were finishing with the lights, sprocket came bounding up to them.
"Hi, Sprocket!" said Molly.
"He's so cute!" said Kit, going to pet him.
"Sprocket's just reminded me," said Nicki, "Where's Benny, Molly?"
"Oh, Cait's looking after him today because Kit and I were shopping."
"I see," Nicki smiled.

They were putting the tinsel on the tree, when Cait and Melody arrived with Benny. Shouts of "Hello!" flew for a few seconds, and then Benny was left to play with Sprocket while Melody offered to help with the golden beads. The tree got a little too crowded for Kit and molly, so they went to the window.

"We'll watch for anyone else coming," said Kit, while the others talked.
"I see Nellie and Sam!" shouted molly a few minutes after wards.

A minute later Samantha and Nellie walked in.
"Hi everyone!" said Samantha. "I think Kirsten's a little way behind us."
"Hello!" said Nicki. "Would you like to help decorate?"
"Of course!" said Nellie and Samantha together.

"Alright," said Melody. "Could you hand me some more balls?"
"Sure!" said Nellie, grabbing some from a drawer. "Here they are."
"Thanks."

Kirsten arrived soon afterwards, carrying a cat.
"Hey, Kirsten," said Molly, "is the cat yours?"
"No, I'm just looking after him for Christmas." Kirsten put the cat down. "His name is Benson."
"Oh, that's such a cute name!" said multiple voices.
"I like your outfit," said Nicki.
"Thanks."
"It's sort of... old-fashioned. I think it's cool."
Kirsten laughed. "It's the closest to "Christmassy" I could find!"
Nicki giggled back. "Come and help decorate!" she said.

"I'm out of balls again!" said melody a minute later.
"More balls, coming up!" said Kirsten, taking a huge handful.
In all the chaos Nicki was the only one to realize that Sprocket was growling at Benson, and ran over to stop him.
"There's Lindsay and Elyssa!" said Kit from the window.
"And I think that's Julie behind them!"
"That means we'll have everyone - except Anna," said Nicki. "I wonder where she is?"

Soon Lindsay and Elyssa came in, and the space around the tree got very crowded.
"Elyssa," Kirsten asked, after they'd said "hello", "what's that on your head?"
"It's a Santa hat."
"But it's blue!"
"I needed my outfit to be Christmassy!" Elyssa laughed.
"Isn't that from Nicki's pajamas?" asked Nellie.
"Yes, but she didn't want it, so she gave it to me."
"I didn't know you were going to wear it as part of an outfit!" Nicki laughed.
"Imagine being me and having to walk here with her!" said Lindsay.

Soon Julie arrived, and the tree was more crowded than ever, but nobody cared. They just loved decorating with their friends, and the tree was being decorated very very fast between all of them. Kit went to sit down and rest her feet.
"I'll come and take her place!" said Nellie. "I'm scared someone's going to knock over the tree if we don't make a little more space!"
Kirsten left to take Benson to another room where he wouldn't be growled at by Sprocket, and the other carried on decorating.

"I think we have enough of the balls on now," said Julie.
"Yay!" said Nicki. "Now we can start with the other ornaments!"

Pretty soon they had done everything, including putting up the little nativity scene, except for giving the tree a topper.
"We haven't got anything for a topper," said Lindsay. "What can we use instead?"

"I don't know," said Nicki. "And even worse, Anna still isn't here, and we've done all the decorating."
"And she's the only one who can reach," said Kirsten.
"Do you think something's happened to her?" asked Molly.
"No," said Samantha, "nothing could've."
"Maybe she's just forgotten," said Nellie.
"Anna never forgets," said Elyssa.
Just then, there were footsteps in the hall. Nicki got up to see who it was.

"Anna!" she cried when she opened the door. "We've been waiting for you!"
"I am sorry I am late."
"That's okay. We were just worried for you. And I'm afraid we've done all the decorating."
"I do not mind. But I did bring you an angel for the top of the tree."
"You did?!" Kit yelled. "We were just wondering what we could use for the top!"
"I am glad that I am bring it, then," said Anna.
 "Us too!" said Kirsten.
"You can put it on," said Molly. "None of us can reach."

"Okay," said Anna, climbing onto the chair. She put the angel on the tree and smiled. "It looks so pretty!" she said.

In fact, it was so pretty, they even took a picture of it.
"Let's take our Christmas-card photos now!" said Cait.
"Yes, let's!" said Kit, turning on the lights.

We took lots of photos, but this one is the best. They're all together, with Sprocket, Benny, and even Benson! :)

My dolls and I hope you have a very happy Christmas, and we all can't wait for tomorrow! :)

Sorry About the Wait

Hey everyone! Julie here! :) I just wanted to say we're sorry you haven't seen us put up our tree yet - it's gonna be a little late. You see, a bunch of stuff needs to be moved around so we can have it in "The Room", like Nicki said, and because Nikki's family has just found out there's a big leak in the garage, it's been a bit chaotic, and we haven't been able to move all that stuff. Nikki thought we could do it in her room, but it didn't work (we and she spent hours trying), so we'll have to wait until we can organize a space in "The Room". But, we promise we'll put it up before Christmas! :) We have to, don't we? :)

I've Made a New Blog! :)

Hiya! It's Nikki (person one, not doll one ;)), and I just wanted to say that I've just made a new blog. :) It's called ABBA everlasting, and if you like ABBA, it's all about them! :) I don't know if anyone who sees this will even have heard of them, but, all the same, I'm posting this just in case. :)
It's abbaeverlasting.blogspot.com (sorry I forgot to add the link:P).
Sorry for interrupting the dolls! ;)

A Crazy-Long Collection of Pictures! :)

Hiya guys! :) This is Nicki, and today, I had more pictures taken of me than ever before! There were like almost 300 of them in all, but tons were blurry, so now there's only about a hundred. Still, that's a lot! :) Some of them are the same picture at a different angle, or with different lighting and stuff, and five have Nikki's brother in them, so not all of them are going to be put on here, but 1/2 to 3/4 or them will be. :) If you get bored, you can stop halfway, but I like the pictures, so I wanna put all the good ones on. :)

Here's me under the big Christmas tree with the lights on, but there's no decorations yet. We also took some before with no extra lighting but they're a bit dark, and this one's similar to them, anyway. :)

Here I am sitting under the tree. If my hair looks messy, it's because I fell backwards into the tree when we were taking the standing photos, and my hair got all caught in the branches and needles. Nikki was really annoyed at that, because she's just made my hair really nice, and then I got it all frizzy-looking. :)

Nikki loves this one on the left, because it somehow blurred across  everything except my face! :) The one on the right is more or less what it was meant to be. :)

Yeah, I know this is similar, but the lights make it so pretty (not that I'm trying to compliment myself), I had to include it! :)

I know it's of my back, but I think I was walking to the window in this one. :)

Here I am looking out the window. I wish I could've gone outside, but I was freezing and pouring with rain. :(

Another one of me by the tree! :)

I don't really know why Nikki took this, but it's me on the couch, anyway. ;)

Same spot, but I'm sitting this time. :)

Now THIS is funny - me walking on the back of the couch! :) Lucky I'm light, or Nikki's mom would be say I was breaking it! :)

This didn't turn out the way it was meant to. There was a lot more light really (well, same goes for most of these, but in this one it made more of a difference), and you can't really see me right. Lol, I look like Nellie! :)

A close-up of me behind the lace curtain. I don't know why we even carried on taking these, though, because we knew they weren't working. :P

Here I am in Nikki's bedroom! Anyone wanna guess what I'm standing on? :) .......... It' Nicki's headboard, lol! :)

I don't know why I'm putting this on, but I like it. :)

Here's me in front of Nikki's window! Even though it's wet outside, it still makes a pretty background. :)

This me in front of the window of "The Room". We call it that because it's a cross between playroom, computer room, music room, and who-knows-what-other-kind-of-room!

 Here's a closer one! :)

And here's ANOTHER one! :) This one came out skew, lol. :P I know there's tons of these, but the windows really do make a lovely background! :) (Thanks Marcia! ;))

And another one... :)

Here's another skew one! :)

Hmm... The curtain makes an interesting photography prop. :)

Boo! :) Here's one of me half-behind the curtain! :) Whoops! I nearly made a four-eyed smiley!

Back in Nicki's room! :) (Or was this really taken before the others and the camera just messed them up?) There's a sink in the room, and it's pink and we thought it matched my outfit! :) It's strange that the walls, floor, and sink of Nikki's room should be pink, when she's generally a tomboy, and her favorite color is sky blue. The closet door is an ugly grey-blue, too, and it doesn't match. :P

Here's me in front of the mirror! :)

And here's OUR Christmas tree! :) It's in Nikki's room right now, but we're probably putting it up in "The Room" later today. :) We couldn't find on of the legs, so we have to put it in a huge jar filled with marbles. At least it's pretty. :)

I'm not looking at the camera in this one. I guess I must've been daydreaming! :)

And here's me sitting in a rocking chair next the the tree. :) It's a big tree, huh? We're so lucky to have it! :)

I climbed onto the chair because I wanted to see if I could reach the top to decorate it and maybe put the star on. :) (Or do we have a star?) I couldn't, though. If the picture's blurry, that's because the chair wouldn't hold still. :)

Then I turned around to take a proper picture! :)

Here's a closer shot. I was leaning more on my hands than my feet in this one! :)

Nikki took this one 'cause she thought her pink sheet and everything around me went well with my clothes, but the sheet didn't show up pink. (Wait a minute. I just noticed it's purple! Well, it must've shown up pink on the camera screen, and she didn't think that it may have been showing the colors wrong. :)

After standing on the seat of the chair didn't work, I had an idea! :) I climbed onto the arms! In this picture, I was very pleased with myself for being able to balance up there with no hands. :)

And closer! :) I don't look too happy here, and that's because the chair stared wobbling.

Up on the arms, I could almost reach the top! But not quite, so I guess maybe Anna will have to put the star (or whatever else we have) on top.

I also decided to have a little fun and be silly be standing on the things-that-make-the-rocking-chair-rock (whatever they're called), and holding onto the top of the back! :) I didn't do that for long, though, because the chair started tipping me off.

So I climbed on top again instead! :)

Now I'm sitting under the tree. :) Do you like the marble-jar? ;)

And another one! :) You can see the pretty marbles better in this one. :)

And one last one by the tree. :) There were more, but blogger keeps going weird, so I'm trying to make the post a little shorter. :)

Then, I pulled out Nikki's drawers and climbed them! :)

At first, Nikki didn't want to get the tree in the way, but I really like these ones with the branches sticking into them! :)

Here I am in front of the back door. I think the green looked really nice with my shirt! :)

And me in front of the front door! :) The lacy stuff behind me gave a similar effect to the one we were trying to give in the ones with the lace curtain. :)

This is me next to a lamp, but it's a bit dark.

This is a bit BRIGHT, but anyway, it's the same spot as the last one. :)

And here's one of me... just, sort of, standing. :P :) But it's one of the only ones that actually shows the colors right. :)

And closer! :) This photo is really amazing, the way it shows the light so well! :)

This was meant to look like I was climbing the tree, but it came out wrong, and it looks like I'm a yard away from it. :P

Here I am IN the tree! :) Lol, my hair got stuck in the branches. I figured it was so messy already, though, it didn't really matter. :)

This one looks cool, but I don't know exactly why. :)

And, Nikki thought the way my hair was caught up in the tree made it look really pretty, so she photographed that, too. :)

I don't actually know where we took this... Oh, wait, I think it was taken on the couch. :)

This is me resting on the couch. We weren't gonna take any more, but Nikki said this was a good picture. :P

She took a close-up, too. :)

I sat down by her window when she was about to put the photos on her computer, and she took a picture of that, too! :)

Well, that's about all of them (the good ones). :) I hope you liked them, and I'm sorry if there were too many. Hopefully, we'll be able to put our tree up in "The Room" tonight, and then there'll probably be another post then about that! :)
